Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 0-6-0 Class G-8 1762 at Kbnsas City, Missouri on September 7, 1938, photograph by Wesley Krambeck, print by Don Gruber, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 1762 was built by Baldwin in 1901 (c/n 19523) as Buroington & Missouri River Railroad 2-6-2 number 373. It was renumbered CB&Q 1762 in 1904, classed as R-2. In 1919 it was rebuilt to an 0-6-0, classed as G-8, retaining road number 1762, retired in June 1939.
