4th Street. Here is an original photo that I took from the 4th Street Footbridge in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 5 April 1964. Shown here (L to R) are: the Pennsylvania Railroad's Passenger Car Shops; the west-and eastbound mainline tracks; five westbound freight trains ~ one headed by GM-EMD's, the other by ALCo's; four Baldwin "Centipedes" awaiting transit to the scrapper; two ALCo units, headed by PRR engine #9625; as well as engines #8114 and #8969 at the far right.
