derek gatt	General	this unit now resides in western australia as BHP iron ore 3083 and is in gray primer after being sold to gec in san potosi mexico for rebuild and then operated for a couple of years as GECX 3500 and then sold to bhp iron ore in australia sep 2003 and was operating in australia by jan 21 04 and is still in heavy use by that railroad as a trailing unit as they have no b\cab air condioning and it is a constant 110 deg F at about 98% humidity, also of note is that this unit operates in run 8 for about 4-5 hours a day!, not bad for a loco built in 79'	5/26/2009 8:30:13 AM
