At first I wasnt too sure and felt that it was too much zoom. Very off bluey livery - very cold color to adopt. The camera has captured the muck on the protection shield and we have the impresion of a well used loco. The zoom has almost hiden the second loco. I accept this is a powerful study but personlly Im 50-50 with it.

To Brian: Pittsburg, KS is right across the MO/KS state line, why would one bother to create a seperate album for a simple cross-border daytrip?

Nice catch. I had the pleasure of seeing this locomotive in person recently. Has a very aggressive look and definitely one of my favorite SD40s.
