Cool shot. This bridge is still active, now part of NS. Conrail rehabbed it back in the 1990's, when it was determined that the adjacent LV bridge, behind the photographer here, was deficient, and would cost too much to bring up to safe standards. The Lehigh Line track was swung over to this alignment on each end, and connected through. The CNJ line had been cut as a through route in the mid 1980's, but this bridge was still used by CR locals to access customers in the Phillipsburg(the Jersey side of the bridge) area, as well as the ex DLW Washington Secondary, which runs up to Hackettstown and Dover NJ. CNJ had abandoned its PA operations in 1972
