Ted Brumberg General This is the MAGDALA, which was built in 1911 by Pullman in Lot #3944 as a Plan #2521 10 section (10S) sleeper lounge observation, 1 of 10 such cars built in that Lot. The MAGDALA was 1 of 4 Plan #2521 cars acquired by the B&O at the 12/31/1948 Pullman divestiture. The MAGDALA was assigned #7401, and later entered MofW service as #X-4301. All 4 of the B&O Plan #2521 cars still exist.
