Malinowski. Here is duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Robert R. Malinoski that was taken just West of the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 5 June 1965. Shown here are four diesel-electric locomotives climbing the East Slope of the Allegheny Mountains with a Pennsylvania Railroad TrucTrain that stretches all the way around the Curve and out of sight to the right. In the lead is #2537 and three more units whose numbers are not recorded. #2537 is a GF-25 built by General Electric in March of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. Visible in the middle distance is Kittanning Run, route of the famed "Kittanning Indian Trail." ("PrrFan18n")
