Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near New Egypt, New Jersey, in March of 1959. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5244, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during February of 1916 and retired on 15 July 1959 after 43 years of faithful service. In this context, it's pulling only PRR N-6B cabin car #982186. ("Stoneborobranch"; #3 of 3) |
