NH 529  Contributor's Pick!
529 emits a large white cloud, a sign that it needs some work. The RS-3 got a good "going-over" not long after this, with the aid of none other than "Mr. Alco" himself, the late George Hockaday. The 529, since then, just emits a small gray puff upon starting, and has been "Old reliable", until just about a month ago, when she finally suffered an eddy current clutch failure. As soon as some alignment problems are straightened out, she should be back in service.
