MILW 4-4-2 #3010 - Chicago, Milwaukee, St Paul & Pacific
Here is another example of a 4-4-2 Atlantic wheel arrangement built by the Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin predecessor) for the Milwaukee Road. Originally numbered #410, it was renumbered several times with #3010 being done in November os 1912. Original Specs - 78" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 13x26" high pressure cylinders, 22x26" low pressure cylinders, engine weight of 140,700 lb, tractive effort of 14,198 lb. Later, this loco was simplified when given 19x26" cylinders. No date, location or photographer was given for this photo so date is an approximation. Does anyone recognize the background building? It's angle and shape might fix the location.
