We decided to head back to the yard because we had recieved word that NS 1072, the Illinois Terminal Heritage Unit, was 4th out on a manifest awaiting permission to head east towards Streator (which would later become NS 10R). To our suprise, a lot had changed in the yard. Plenty of different engines from yesterday. Right on the first track on the bridge, there was a 7 pack of Geeps, 2 Widecab, and 5 standard cabs sitting underneath the bridge |
