Note on by by photographer Anthony H. Perles on his day of following CN #80 - "CNR 2615 (N-41, 40%) and #80 (right) meet on way freight and mixed train at the 'town' station." (Simcoe, Ontario, Canada) CN #2615 was built by Alco-Schenectady in August of 1907, serial #43554, nee-GTR 765, GTR class D5, Absorbed by CN, it was renumbered in 1923 as 2615, CN class N-4a. The loco was scrapped in February of 1960 after 53 years of service. |
