| CN container train approaches Hwy. M as it heads northwest via former SOO rails at Medina Station, Town of Dale, Outagamie Co., WI on a foggy 21 Jan. '17. Train had two locomotives, CN 8823 pulling and CN 8845 mid-train. The WC built a depot here somewhere between 1871, when the line was laid, and 1889, when I recently found it depicted on a map. The site was labeled as Medina Station on maps until at least 1915. The depot stood approximately where the CN microwave tower now stands, behind me. |
