Utah 9006
Early morning sun makes the red nose of the 9006 really stand out. This is an empty train on the curves at Kyune. The downhill grade increases to 2.4% here. In steam engine days, a wye was in use at Kyune to turn the helper engines. The 9006 was built in 1970 for the Chesapeake & Ohio and was sold to the Wisconsin & Southern in 2009.
