A pair of ES40DC helpers are heading east under the signal bridge near the Amtrak station in Connellsville to assist on a Q388-22 train. These two engines are in for a big adventure when they go up into the mountains. In fact it looks like they already had one. This has been the largest 24-hour snowstorm even Ive seen in my lifetime here. We got approximately 2 1/2 feet of snow since yesterday. The city is at a standstill but the railroad is still finding ways to move some trains. |
