On the air  Contributor's Pick!
The north end of Bevier St was on the grade up to the tunnel, and NYSW would usually leave an engine on a train that was to be repowered if the rest of the power was going to the yard. This was to keep the air up in the train. Today NYSW 3638 has that task. We see it on an MEBU that will shortly get the rest of its power tied on and head west. The 3638 had a spotty service record, and was in and out of the shop, unlike 3636, which was pretty much constantly working. The lack of 3638s availability made it quite a challenge to get the two F 45s on the same train. I only saw it twice, and was unable to get a shot either time.
