The Soo build a Branch line known as the "Wheat Line" from Theif River Falls MN west to Fordville ND, where it split, here 391 miles from the Shoreham Yards in North Minneapolis. the track straight ahead goes to Kenmare ND where it rejoins the Main line from Minneapolis to Canada via Glenwood MN, Hankinson ND, and Minot ND. the line curving left heads to Drake ND, Via Devils Lake where it too rejoins the line to Canada. Today the portion from Devils Lake to Drake is torn out. |
