I think Kyle was operating this for awhile (not sure if they still are) but C&LC is defunct.

The tracks are former Rock Island, are they defunct now or does UP/SP/BNSF operate on them?

see above comment; last operator was Kyle, not sure if they are still operating this segment. I don't believe SP is operating anywhere now! ;-)

When I took a look at RailAmerica's webpage, it says that the KYLE does operate this ection of trackage. Who knows though.

Kyle still does, Kyle uses some ex-SP power along with lease units as well.

The rails between Limon and Colorado Springs are gone but the line East of Limon is intact and served by KYLE. I wish they still had service between Colorado Springs and Limon but it's history now. I'm told that a washed-out trestle next to Constitution Ave. in Colorado Springs would have cost too much to replace and doomed the line.
