Fillmore & Western. 100 westbound crossing the ex-Southern Pacific trestle over the west branch of Sespe Creek. *This locomotive was originally delivered to the C&NW as their F7(A) #4068A in March 1949. She was rebuilt as a commuter locomotive in 1959 and re`umbered to 409, before becoming Chicago RTA #409 in 1978 and then Metra in 1983. Later, she went to Rails Diversified, and then to Winchester & Western, and then to Maryland Midland as their number 100. Shortline Enterprises (the owner of Fillmore and Western) acquired her from Maryland Midland. |
