B36-7's
According to the Diesel Locomotive Roster for the time, the trio of B36-7's represents half of the six the Southern owned. I was told by a diesel shop mechanic the reason GE's were scarce in the New Orleans area is because they did not have the special greases used on the GE's. Southern's GE's were rare in New Orleans.
