Mississippi Queen
At downtown Baton Rouge, the ICG/IC/CN runs right on top of the Mississippi River levee. The river is normally a long way from the railroad; but in the spring of 1979 the water was unusually high. In this view facing north, the riverboat MISSISSIPPI QUEEN is docked right next to the railroad. A quarterboat was being used as a makeshift dock.
