Ex-Maine Central U18B's #404, #407, and GP-7 #592. The #592 is an Ex-L&N Geep.

Wouldn't happen to know the story on these units, would you? Were they headed somewhere? They were all well known in New England.

Although I'd love to have been a railfan when these guys are running I am still impressed by the show the 2035 and the NYC units give when I railfan out here!

The U18Bs are now owned by Rail Trusts Equipment (RTEX). They were moved to Lachine, Quebec (near Montreal) in 2003, and have been there ever since, rusting away. The 592 was renumbered back to ST 12 and continues to serve on Pan Am (formerly Guilford).

GP7 592 was never numbered ST 12. It was GP7 593 that was numbered ST 12

Correction, 592 is ST 12. My mistake.
