PRR 5836, EP-22, 1955
Title:  PRR 5836, EP-22, 1955
Description:  Lorenz. Here is a photo via Bob Lorenz that was taken at the Passenger Station in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, in 1955. Shown here (F to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5836 and another "EP" Class unit whose road number is not recorded. Both were built by GM-EMD. #5836 is an EP-22 constructed in February of 1951 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. They're about to pass under the Pedestrian Footbridge with a passenger train bound for Altoona and points West. (Gift from Brad Mann.)

PRR 5836, EP-22, 1959
Title:  PRR 5836, EP-22, 1959
Description:  Mann. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Passenger Station in Louisville, Kentucky, on 2 May 1959. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5836 and #5891. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5836 was built in February of 1951, while #5891 was built in April of 1950. Looks to me like the Fireman's waiting for the signal from the Conductor to highball it out of The Derby City. ("PrrFan18n")
