Album Info:My first visit to see the Tweetsie. If you are a rail / steam / narrow gage fan like me, I recommend their annual Railroad Heritage / Railfan weekend, typically done the weekend before or after Labor Day weekend. I was hoping to see both steam locomotives operating, but ET&WNC Number 12 was in the shops with a firebox leak, so WP&YR #190 was the road engine for railroad heritage weekend in 2018. The main attraction for me was that they opened the park two hours early, and operated a railfan photo special. Temperatures were cool, so railfans were treated to a fantastic exhaust display as the Tweetsie conducted four runbys at two separate photo locations along the 4% grade of their loop.
