Viewing Album:  Last days for GG1's on Conrail

Album Info:CR GG1's 4864 and 4809 led a SB freight through Morrisville on the NEC in mid-November, 1979. Less than a week later on November 21st, GG1's 4859 and 4887 led the last freight pulled by the famed locomotive on ENWI-1 heading from Enola to Wilmington, DE. Days were coming to a close for E33 4602 also running SB with mixed freight on the NEC. Also running through Morrisville that day, Amtrak GG1's 4919 and 4921 still retained their former PC 4900 number series, before being renumbered in the 900 series.
