Album Info:Today, I went to the Museum of Science and Industry. If you're going there from Milwaukee, then train is the best way to get there! Parking at the museum is over 20 bucks, but a Metra ride south from Kenosha and the L train are just $12 combined on weekends. Of course, I got plenty of photos of Metra and L Trains on the way down. The highlight of the trip was the Pioneer Zephyr, the famous streamline engine that is the first thing you see when you enter the museum. Additionally, the museum has New York Central 999, the first vehicle to travel over 100 mph, back in 1893. Enjoy!

Title:  NYC 999
Description:  Those wheels (70 inches across), might look big, but they were originally larger (86 inches across). NYC 999
Title:  NYC 999
Description:  Though the 86-inch wheels were great for speed, they were not so great for control, as the engine would slip when pulling more than 5 cars. That is why it was later rebuilt with the 70-inch wheels.
